This is an absolutely beautiful bauble- really looks stunning on our tree. We buy one special bauble every yearand this is our 2016 one. I honestly don't know how anyone could be disappointed with it! It would make a lovely gift too. It has painted snow on the outside and loose snow on the inside and is very well made. (The clue is in the wording- snowglobe-style bauble not snowglobe bauble...)
. This is a pretty little bauble for the Christmas Tree - but be aware that it is NO more than that. It isn't a Snow Globe. The 'snow' is loose and so can be shaken, but immediately you stop the 'snow' just settles on the bottom in one plop - there isn't any gel to make it look like snow flakes falling. My rating therefore is based on it just being a Christmas Tree bauble. .
I have just received this item and, after struggling to release it from the box and polystyrene, was disappointed that the snow is not in liquid. A gentle shake just slightly displaces the snow which settles immediately. Was hoping for an old fashioned snow globe like the ones I remember from my childhood. The overall design is good but lack of liquid means I will only score it a two.
