I'm fussy, especially about fragrances, but I really liked this. When you walk passed the tree you get a lovely light fragrance which to me is realistic. When I come down in the morning I notice it. I wouldn't want it to be overpowering. I'm very pleased.
will settle into a very realistic fir odour, it only takes about 2 hours,my advice is hang it - then go out. When I arrived home I was transported back to my childhood in the 70s when you only had a "real" tree, it made me so happy - then I felt guilty that my own children of the 90s never had a "real" tree and will never have that wonderful smell to evoke excitied Christmas memories. All parents/grandparents buy this and ONLY use at Christmas. Every morning when I walk into my living room I am transported to by gone days :-))
This is a lovely product and one which I would recommend. I used only 3 of the sticks to start with, and may use the rest closer to Christmas, but am delighted with the lovely pine scent that comes from our live tree. This is probably a good idea for an artificial tree as well.
I bought these as I love the scent of real Christmas trees but hate the mess and expense. I put 4 on the branches of my 5 feet tree and the other 2 on a table centre decoration in my kitchen. They smell just like a real tree would and they are not too overpowering.

BOUGHT THESE LAST YEAR AND WILL BE BUYING AGAIN THIS YEAR. LOVE THE SCENT. I CHOSE TO HANG THEM WITH THE METAL HOOK SUPPLIED ON MY RADIATORS FOR MAXIMUM EFFECT. THE SCENT DOES ONLY LAST A FEW WEEKS THOUGH (SO UNSURE REALLY WHY THEY COME WITH A 3 YEAR GUARANTEE?) WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU COULD BUY WITH A BOTTLE OF PINE SCENTED OIL TO REFRESH THEM.
