I bought this along with the 'pudding in a mug' and the 'chocolate cake in a mug' for my daughter who is about to go to university. We have had so much fun trying them out. They make quick and delicious treats. A great addition to any student's survival pack!
Amongst other ailments, I have arthritis. Using this mug is soooo easy and quick! The end result is delicious. I highly recommend these mugs,I have now bought all of them!
This was a surprise when the mug turned up in the parcel bright and cheerful. I left it standing on the kitchen unit for one week. With more time on my hands I decided to have a go. I mixed all the ingredients together as stated on the mug and then popped it into the microwave and what a surprise the muffin had risen well above the mug. My son was visiting and we had half each it was very light and tasted as good as those I have made in the oven. This was a real treat and so very quick to make. I shall be making lots more this way in future.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my 21 yr old granddaughter and she is thrilled with it! I also got the "Meal in a Mug" cook book and went back to get one for myself and was very disappointed that they're out of stock.

Thought this was just a gimmick. How wrong I was. A little tweek here and there now an almost muffin is made in the time it takes to make a cup of tea. Enough for two as a pudding with custard. It would be handy to know the weight of flour and sugar needed, I also have the cake in a mug, same results. Yummy Yummy
