Read the reviews but bought it mail order anyway. Surely most people already have an alternative tablet stylus and mine works perfectly, tap or scroll so I am delighted. You do need a lot of pressure with the stylus supplied but it sounds like Lakeland are on the case. The stand is very neat and doesn't take up a lot of space on the worktop.
I love using my iPad in the kitchen, but I'm not the tidiest, or cleanest of bakers, so needed something to lift my tablet off the surface. This is where this stand come in! The stand itself is lovely, fits my iPad and has a hole for the charging cable, and it will happily hold it in either portrait or landscape. The only let down is the stylus. You have to put a lot of pressure on your screen to make it work, so much so that the stand tips backwards. It's a shame really, but you'll just have to keep one finger clean!

Just received my old school tablet stand but sadly it is not going to work for me. Love the look of it BUT although the tablet sits on the stand very happily, the stylus has to be pressed firmly on to the tablet to make anything happen, which knocks the tablet /stand over. The only way is to use the stylus with one hand while holding the tablet with the other which totally negates the whole point of having it! I bought 4 to give as presents so they will all have to go back. I will go to a store to see if I can try before I buy - I assume the more expensive versions have a better stylus?
