I was given a pair of these mugs (though in blue), and they have quickly become favourites. They feel much more elegant than a standard mug, but not too delicate - they've stood up to over two years of use so far and aren't showing any signs of ageing. They main reason I like them so much is the texture and shape of them. They feel great in your hands, with the lovely tactile ridges. Pleasant to drink from, and with comfortable, actually useful handles.
