Love Birds Rolling Pin

It's hard to imagine a badly designed rolling pin - but Lakeland have done it! The ceramic portion is not particularly long so it leaves creases in pastry. The ceramic portion does not actually spin on the handles, and is relatively lightweight, so I found it clumsy to use. It is not totally smooth so my biscuit dough stuck to a much greater extent than I have noticed with my old wooden rolling pin. This was a gift to replace a too-short rolling pin that I used as a child, but it really does not do the job if you are a keen baker. The pattern is quite nice -maybe just a decorative item?
