Karoto Sharpener and Peeler

It's not a spiralizer, and that's clear, but what it does do is make very interesting looking carrot shavings. They look exactly like pencil shavings, and make a great and novel way to add carrot to a salad or dish. When you start to get towards the end of sharpening a carrot it does become more difficult and the consistency of the sharpenings changes. I actually find that the sharpener works quite well for myself, I know some of the other reviewers don't agree, but I find it quite easy to use.

Sharpener works really well and gives a very creative look. Afraid I was seriously disappointed with the peeler which just didn't work

This was fine to start using but as the carrot got smaller it would not work.I was disappointed with this for the money.

This was on my wish list, and bought for me by my daughter. Despite using several different carrots, and following advice from reply to previous review, all I managed to produce were short, irregular pieces of carrot. Turns out, its just an expensive carrot peeler!! The 1* was awarded to the peeler.

I too am very disappointed with this. All I get is very irregular shavings of vegetables which look most unattractive. An expensive bad purchase.
