"Ornamental only?"
Maybe I misunderstood the intention and it was designed to be purely ornamental, but I was looking forward to using this as a cute, jokey little milk jug, but I find it totally impractical for this use: it has no stopper (although a twist of kitchen roll works, it's inelegant to say the least) and is impossible to clean properly, losing it's shine and becoming dull and smeary after the first wash. I will carry on using it as a handy half-pint measure, but not for public display when entertaining friends. Really not a good buy for me...

Thank you for placing your review. We're sorry to hear you've been disappointed with this whimsical nostalgic milk server. It does seem more an alternative milk server than for storage of milk and would certainly provide a talking point when friends visit. For cleaning We'd recommend soapy water, cover the spout with your hand and gently shake then rinse.
