We love using chilli to spice up our dishes and this mill makes it so easy. It cuts the dried chillies into a fine powder which must help to keep all of the heat. Great to add chilli to all dishes either directly into the pot or onto the finished dish. It even looks like a chilli!
I got this for my boyfriend, as he loves chillies and likes to add them to everything. He really likes it and it we could tell the difference from the prefilled mill we used to get from the supermarket immediately - it gives a much finer grind and only a little grind will add a real kick to your cooking.
My husband loves everything with chillies. This is great because it means he can add extra heat whenever he likes. His only complaint is that not much chilli comes out. Also purchased again for a friend as a gift - they loved it.
Bought this recently, filled with homegrown chillies, very poor grind, produces a slight powder. Returned to store but told that this was how it was supposed to be. Need to find something better I'm afraid

A beautiful piece of kitchen equipment, but as for grinding chillis, it is totally useless! They get stuck in the clear piece and do not fall down into the grinder. Whatever manages to be ground is no good, takes forever and is frustrating. It looks pretty, but thats it!
