I like these wipe-clean wooden trays much more than the cheap plastic ones. They have a chunky, robust feel without actually being any heavier. Good for using the laptop on the sofa as well. A word of warning - when you have accidentally got one wet, don't put it on top of your Aga to dry out or the little polystyrene balls inside will melt :(
