Build Your Own Bouncy Ball

This ball making kit is fantastic! It sounds unbelievable that simply pouring the powder into the mold, submerging it in water for 3 mins, leaving it in the mold for a further 5 mins will produce a bouncy ball but it does!!! We all enjoyed making this ball but it was a present for my Son (age 7 at the time) so he did the bulk of it and 'designed' it. A really worthwhile present and I wish they hadn't sold out as I would've bought several more for his friends birthdays! Definitely a recommended purchase if Lakeland decide to sell it again!

I bought this in last year's Christmas period, and my experience with it was not up to the standards I am used to with lakeland. The ball was easy to make, and at first seemed to bounce happily. But in just a day or so, the hardening process that turns the viscous mix of powders and water into a solid had moved so far that the ball was a massively tough, hardened lump that felt like a rock - and bounced like one, meaning not at all. I spoke to Lakeland Cust. Serv. and they did refund me, but disappointing to see it back this year.
