    "Excellent item & service"

    Received by post today as a birthday gift, I can recommend this lovely, natural Slate Serving Dish & am looking forward to using it when the family visit for Christmas.     A really attractive item, well made, love the handles. Great for serving canapes. I bought the slate cheeseboard at the same time - it's a pity that doesn't have the same handles as it is rather plain and not so easy to pick up.

    "Lovely"

    This is a very solid and weighty presentation tray (well, obviously, as its made of slate!). I used it to serve cold amuse-bouches and nibbles like proscuitto and figs etc, and its great for that as it keeps them cool, so there are no worries if they are sitting out for a while at a party. It is rather expensive, but very stylish and I can see this lasting for years. As one of the other reviewers said, it comes in a beautiful presentation case and would make a superb present for any foodie friends.
