The Gourmet Mulling Syrup 500ml

I have only used this with wine so far but found it to be quite good. I am un able to have commercial bottled mulled wine due to the ingredients not being listed in sufficient detail therefore I do not know what that would taste like in comparison. The syrup plus wine made a pleasant drink but both myself and my husband found it to be greatly improved by the addition of a couple of slivers of orange peel giving the drink the more fruity edge which we felt was lacking.

WOW ~ Really nice, what a refreshing change, no alcohol too :-) I've used some with sparkling water to create a lovely refreshing cool drink. It will work well in a hot drink too, my intention over the next few days is to 'experiment' with some of my favourite teas to. Yorkshire Tea, Earl & Lady Gray as starters ;-)

Try this in your poached pears, plums - poached or baked, in the core of an oven baked apple with cinnamon sugar and sultanas, over icecream, grapefruit, the list is endless. An absolute corker of an autumn/winter product, alcohol free, this warming syrup is excellent. Found it in a smaller bottle with a different retailer so to find the large bottle here is wonderful, I'm now on my 3rd!

I bought this based on the reviews. I mostly use it for mulled cider, it’s a particularly good way to use up open bottles and cans, when just making one glass it’s also quick. I’d definitely recommend this if you like mulled drinkings.

I've used it for mulled wine and cider, great when I only need one glass. Convenient and economical. Good present when given with an optional bottle.
