Mini Cheese Knives

I received these knives as a gift from a good friend who knew that I had been looking for some cheese knives for some time. We were both terribly disappointed as I opened my present. We both tried to hide it but we both knew that these knives are hardly fit for purpose. They are so small that they are difficult to hold in an adult hand, let alone put any pressure on them to cut cheese. Aside from all of this, the miniature nature of the knives makes them overly ornate and in my opinion, ugly.I now have the dubious task of trying to return them to Lakeland without alerting my friend as I don't want to hurt her feelings, and so without a receipt or any purchase details. I am selecting a 1 star rating because I can't select 0 stars.

As per the other reveiw these were purchased as a gift and I didn't look inside the box.....a mistake. When opened on Xmas day the knives were smaller than 'mini' and half the size of the box. The handles are too short and they do not cut any type of cheese. A complete waste of money and did not live up to the description as you couldn't have one each at a dinner party. For the first time ever I was very disappointed in my purchase from Lakeland. I purchased together with slate cheese board (excellent) so sad the gift only half managed expectations

Disappointed. Bought as a gift but will not be giving as gift. Although website does say mini and they are 4inches, the photo is deceptive and I didn't appreciate how "mini" they really would be. Very lightweight and do not feel too sturdy. Can't see them cutting cheese very well. Gift box is cheap looking as are knives.
