"Great Fun"

We bought 2 of these knitting dolls as christmas presents for our grand daughters because I remembered having one as a girl. They were a bit rough through the middle. But a bodkin needle solved the problem. The biggest problem is that the pin is far too thick for turning the wool over the pegs.Naturally Nana and her friend had to have a go first so that we could remind ourselves how to do the knitting!!Now I am buying one for my friend who is all of 52 years old

"not as I remember"

I bought one of these a while ago to give to my creative 8 year old daughter. I remember having one of these when I was little. The inside was so rough that we were unable to thread the wool through. Trying to smooth the hole out with a drill just made the wood split. One disappointed little girl and a memory spoiled for mum.
