2-in-1 Cake Stand

I had two and used them many times over 4 years as both cake/desert stands and for dips & crudités; they still look sparkling new and I've received compliments about them. I'd like another one as they are very useful at parties. Glad to hear this item will soon be back in stock. The dome fits snugly over the upside-down serving platter and keeps food fresh for a few hours. My most frequent use of this product is at barbecues; I prepare sliced tomatoes, onions, gherkins, grated cheese and shredded lettuce and put under the dome to keep flies off until burgers are cooked and ready to assemble.

So enjoyed using this cake "dome" at Christmas for storing after icing the cake and display Looked impressive and elegant. Kept cake fresh too! (Tip-I placed clingfilm over the bottom of the stand under a large cake board so it came to the edges of the stand which was effective as an air seal).Had a heavy cut glass version, was beautiful but not deep enough and dangerous because of the weight, so gave it to charity.I prefer this one which is still a good weight but safer to use and will just take all my sentimental cake decorations! Look forward to using it upside down for summer garden party!

Bought one for me and one for a friend and we are both delighted. Looks fab and to be able to use it as trifle dish/crudite tray is ingenious. Well done Lakeland, more great ideas please!

I had been looking around for a good quality cake stand for a coffee shop that was not glass. This product is ideal , I ordered 6 stands last year and they look fantastic with our products displayed in them. They are washed and used every day and they still look as good as new. I am so glad that Lakeland still stock them as I will be ordering more.
