Compact Shovel

This is a great little portable device, perfect for keeping in the boot of your car or for taking camping (it's a bit heavy as it's robustly built) so best for car campers. It's like the army entrenching tool. Very, very handy in all sorts of situations and an absolute steal at the reduced price. I gave one to a scoutmaster friend and he was delighted with it. Bought one for myself too. A really good bargain.

Bought this in the sale and for the price paid great value. Substantial and weighty. Not sure will use it in car but would be great for camping and clearing snow in garden when feeding birds.

Despite reading the two reviews, I decided to buy this item and I`m really pleased I did. Yes, it is small but it does say its compact. Its not supposed to take the place of a snow shovel but it will be handy to keep in the car just in case we ever get caught out!

This is the worst product that I have ever bought from Lakeland and the only time ever that I have had to complain about a product from them! I bought this product and the Snow Shovel which were both the same price and both described for winter emergencies. The snow shovel looks exactly as described but this is so small that it could fit in your handbag and the actual 'spade' is more the size of a hoe! All 4 of these are going straight back to Lakeland and I will now have to start looking for replacements which will probably be impossible as everyone will now have sold out of decent small snow shovels. What was the Lakeland buyer thinking when buying and describing this product!!!?
