Really pleased with this bear. Loud enough to listen to both with my ipod and radio function and my children love the disco lights! I have put rechargable batteries in it and it works fine.I bought a 2nd one for a gift for a friend's daughter and I know she will love it. Especially at the sale you can't go wrong.
I bought one of these for my 5 year-old son. He loves it.The only negative for this is that the volume control is a bit tempremental. It is either quite loud or too quiet to hear.I will recommend it to friends who have special needs children though, as it is a great thing to have in a sensory room.
