LED Votives

I was so looking forward receiving these Votives with the intention to use toward part of my table decoration Christmas day.As soon as they arrived I excitedly removed them from their box and placed on my mantle and switched them on. I was so disappointed to discover the lights hardly flickered and failed to muster much light at all? Then, to my dismay, after only a couple evenings they all started to die one by one. Not wanting to give up decided to try popping a tealight in to see if this made any improvement with the idea using just the holders but sadly not even a tealight could create a 'magical atmosphere' as originally described.The only blessing they failed 'before' Christmas to at least enable me to source an alternative. ... back to the old tealights for me.
