8 Symphony Musical Christmas Crackers
Product number: 40452
If you want Christmas dinner to go with a swing, you simply must get a set of these Cracker Symphony Musical Christmas Crackers. We can't begin to tell you how much fun everyone had when putting these musical crackers through their paces. After a bit of practice (and much hilarity), the Catalogue Team had Good King Wenceslas down to a tee... however, let's just say our Chitty Chitty Bang Bang needed some more work!
To orchestrate the proceedings, pull the crackers to find the 8 differently toned, numbered whistles; appoint a conductor, and let the fun begin. It's so easy; instead of notes, it's music by numbers – the conductor points their baton at the person with the relevant numbered whistle and hey presto, sweet music is created... or total chaos!
Set of 8 handmade crackers with whistles and hats inside; number stickers; conductor's baton and 16 tunes to play.

I bought these a couple of years ago but couldn't get them last year in order to give to friends. I know the idea seems a bit stupid (!) but, believe me, the whole family was in hysterics. I think it's important to put the most power-crazy person (me) in as the conductor because, as the rest of the assembled orchestra mess around blowing their whistles, the impatience of the conductor (me) apparently becomes the most funny part of the whole event!I consider my family (ages ranged from 6 - 65) to be fairly bright, intelligent and co-ordinated so I don't know if it was the wine consumed over the dinner, but it still bemuses me as to why they were apparently unable to blow the one required blast when I pointed in their direction. And each time someone missed a note, someone else fell off their chair laughing. How difficult could it be for Heaven's sake? It was impossible to restore order and each time we got to the last note of a tune there was a chorus of "What was that?"I was deeply traumatised but everyone else said it was the best Christmas ever.
As a family we have had great fun with these crackers over the last few Christmases. Our ages have ranged from 11 upto 88!
These are fabulous as an after dinner game on Christmas Day, highly recommended!!!
I bought these crackers for the first time last year. We had assorted ages of children and also we had the rest of the family to make up the numbers. Great fun was had by all, during dinner. The fun then carried on during the afternoon. Friends have since asked where they came from, so hope you have plenty available this year.
