Wine Away

As a hand waver I should never be let near a tall glass of red wine - in fact both my husband and I have from when it comes to knocking over bottles/glasses of the staining stuff and this really does what it say on the bottle. It rescued our large, new, expensive, sitting room carpet from a christmas party upspillation (not us) and I only wish I'd had the small bottle with me at a family party when I drenched my brother's smart cream suit with a full glass! Lovely smell too. Please don't stop stocking it.

It's a miracle! Isn't it wonderful when a product actually works? Having bought a beautiful cream dress to wear at the races a few weeks ago (dry clean only of course!), it was worn once on the day and a gust of wind promptly spilled rose wine down it! It was dry cleaned twice at quite a price using the "executive service" and granted, the stains were reduced but were still there. I'd almost resigned myself to never wearing it again when I came across "Wine Away" on the Lakeland site. With nothing to lose, I gave it a go and I now have a brand new dress. Several squirts of "Wine Away" and some careful dabbing with a wet cloth and the stains have totally gone! It takes a lot to impress me but I'll never be without this product now. Plus the bottle is massive so if being used on clothes, it'll last for ages. Thank you Lakeland!

This is a fantastic product and saved me £65 in professional cleaning. I had red wine spilled on my wedding dress - fortunately at the end of the evening!! It was a very expensive dress and I was very worried that it might have been impossible to remove. I asked the Dry Cleaners for a quote and they said it would cost me £75 to have it professionally cleaned but they could not guarantee that the stain would be removed. I subsequently read about Wine Away in a woman's magazine and thought it was worth a try. I thought it best to firstly test the spray on the fabric so I dabbed a little red wine on an inside seam of the dress, I let it dry then sprayed it with the Wine Away and instantly the stain disappeared leaving the fabric perfectly clean. So it was with confidence that I then put a clean cloth under the problem stain and sprayed, with another clean cloth I gently rubbed over the top of the stain and the stain started to disappear. I repeated this twice after which the stain completely vanished. I am so pleased with this product as my wedding dress is very special to me and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I would also suggest testing it first somewhere where it can't be seen if there is any doubt or worry about the result. Thanks Lakeland for a great product.

Red wine got spilt on my best cream silk dress at a wedding back in May, dry cleaners tried their hardest, but the stain was there to stay. And they made clucking noises about 'Wine Away' - what do they know?! Decided as the dress was ruined anyway, might as well give 'Wine Away' a try and chuck it in the washing machine on the delicates setting. What a result! I can still see the mark ever so slightly if you know where to look, but overall the dress is totally wearable again - so much for dry clean only! What a fantastic product!

I've used Wine Away a few times on spilt red wine on the carpet and it's always been fantastic. However the other day I cut my finger and several hours later I noticed I'd got blood all over my white T-shirt. So I sprayed Wine Away on the blood and left it for 5 mins then popped it in the wash as usual. Wow, I couldn't believe all the blood had come out, my T-shirt was like new. I will be recommending this to everyone !
