The Lakeland Insulated Cool Bag 20L

This insulated cool bag is amazing, it is lightweight and keeps our picnic really cool, easy to carry around and soft handles, a real joy to use.

We bought this a couple of years ago for a picnic. Was out in the sun all day and the food was still chilled at the end of the day. We now use it for the weekly for the shopping and alway pack in our case for holidays. Ideal for the beach or trips to the shops if you’re self catering. It’s great that it folds flat and it’s easy to store when not in use. Only negative thing is that the zip can catch in the fabric but just be aware and it can easily be avoided.

I have a previous ‘model’ of this bag which I use a lot. Decided to get another one to use in my camper van sadly it’s not as good. It’s much smaller than before and no longer has the wipe clean lining. I would have preferred to pay more for another the same as the previous model. I do wish a decent company like Lakeland wouldn’t do a cheaper version of a very good product just to maintain a price level. The same same happened with the foil, it may well still be thicker than other brands but it’s nit as thick as it once was.

I have just bought this cool bag. But it caused a situation in the supermarket queue when the zip caught in the lining, it took some time for me to sort this, I almost gave up. So be very careful and notice this does not happen! Apart from this it worked well and I arrived home with everything still frozen after an hour’s journey.

Bought one of these about 10 years ago after agonising over the price for ages. Do not hesitate like I did. I've just used it for the first time in 2019 after lots and lots of use in previous years and it's still as good as new. Very good quality, easy to keep clean and keeps things brilliantly chilled. Go and buy one. You won't be disappointed.
