This is simply the most used item in the kitchen. I would recommend this to any one who does cooking for the freezer. You simply suck the air out of the bag of food and clip with your clippits and freeze. Bread will freeze well like this!!!
Used one of these for about 20 years and then had to replace it. Yes my old one was cardboard but have found that this one works just as well and is easier to clean. I will have to buy another if Lakeland is not going to stock them.
This and a diabolical plastic coat hanger holder - seemingly no longer sold - are the only two rubbish items I've ever had from Lakeland. Totally impossible to remove the air and seal the bag without air getting back in. If only I had three hands I may have had a different opinion. If it was an option I'd give it zero stars.

I had high hopes of using this item to aid in the storage of dehydrated foods, but I was much more successful sucking the air out! This vacuum pump did neither pump or vacumm. I was surprised that something form Lakeland would be so completely useless. I recycled it after its first use. I would give the item zero stars
