Bought this cutter after reading the good reviews but I can't get on with it at all. Cling film just bunches up and doesn't cut. Same problem with foil which it is supposed to cut as well. Will live in the back of the cupboard.

I bought this yestesday and tried it. It is a really excellent produce. I no longer have to try to cut my cling film with all sorts of equipment. This little gadget just does the trick.
I hoped this would help with clingfilm, but unfortunately is really disappointing. Doesn't work any better with foil either.

Having read the reviews I thought there were more good reviews than bad so decided to try it as clingfilm is so fiddly sometimes. However, both myself and my husband have tried and it just does not cut and wrinkles the clingfilm up. A bit like us really as we are wrinklies too!!!

I have used Lakeland cling wrap cutters at friends' houses for years and always meant to buy one as they were brilliant. I wonder if the design has changed as mine does not cut the cling wrap easily - I have to pull it very tightly to get a clean cut and the wrap often gets tangled.
