They weigh up to 5kg compared to 3kg per my current scales - although I'd rarely need to weigh more than 3kg. I weigh food daily to help me calculate carbohydrate consumption for Type 1 diabetes often preferring to weigh food on the plate I will eat from but, like most other scales, you cannot see the display properly if weighing on a dinner plate. Just an observation, not an issue. I liked that the 4 x AAA batteries required were included - safer than cell batteries. Sensitive when wiping clean but easy to turn off. "oxo scales......" star star star star star really easy to use, and the best bit is there are batteries including, normal batteries not ones you can never get and that you don't need a tiny screw driver to open the battery place. clear and easy to change the units with out being frustrating. the old ones are going in the bin, thought would keep them for spares but I won't now.....(well actually they will got the the charity shop...)
"Oxo Everyday Glass Digital Kitchen Scales." star star star star star_border Easy to use and offers universal measurements with clear digital numbers. The surface is easy to clean and the compact size allows easy storage but the size does not compromise its usage. Also, batteries included!. Would recommend this product which I am delighted with.
"Very neat kitchen scales" star star star star star_border These scales have a very clear readout and it’s easy to change from grams to ounces etc. The buttons are responsive and it’s quick to turn on and off. It tares nicely, which is good for adding ingredients when baking. Easy to wipe clean. "Stylish scales" star star star star star Nice looking glass scales, I would be happy to keep these on the worktop and not hide them in the drawer like the others I have had. Easy to clean glass surface. Clear and lit up digital measurements which can be reverted back to zero without taking the bowl off the scales which is what I like. 5 different weight units including fluids.Easy to use, light weight and slim.These are well made.
