With a flat design and curved edge for reaching easily into the corners of pots and pans, the Lakeland Large Flat Whisk is great for making sauces, custards, gravies and roux. The flat design is also great for storage, lying flat in your drawer amongst other utensils. Thanks to the handy hanging loop it can be hung up against the wall without sticking out at all, and as there's much less chance of food getting stuck in between the wires compared to a normal whisk, making it a doddle to clean too.

"Flat whisk"

I prefer this type of whisk as opposed to a balloon whisk and it works perfectly well when making a white sauce for example. The only issue I have is that there is an annoying rattle in the handle as though something is loose. I can still use it but I'm wondering if it will fail on me soon.
