I would like to recommend these oven cloths as they are long and wide enough for my big hands.

So much easier to use than gloves, which always seem too thick and stiff to get hold of things safely. Also nice and long so not dangerously restricting distance between hands. Just getting another one as I don't like to be without whilst the first one is in the washing! By the way it seems to stay cleaner than stiff gloves.

Good sized oven cloth but not very heatproof. I had to fold over 4 times in order not to scald myself.
