Colour is lovely but the gloves are really too thick. Unable to grip/lift anything out of the oven. Hopefully after lots and lots of washing it might be more pliable.

I bought these as our previous Lakeland pair (the ones with the sheep) had finally worn out. I hadn't read any reviews before purchase, but when I saw how thick these were, I thought them ideal, as one of the requirements we wanted was our fingers wouldn't get burnt. However they are extremely impractical. It's extremely hard to grip baking trays & plates that have been warming are a complete no no. As another reviewer has commented, maybe after a wash they will become easier to use.

I concur with your previous reviewer - the gloves are much too thick it is very tricky to get a grip on trays or dishes from the oven. I will be returning them. It is the first time I have criticised a Lakeland product.
