Durable yet comfortable

Made from high-quality recycled leather that’s been salvaged from factory offcuts, the reworking process creates an incredibly soft and flexible fabric that’s just as hardwearing as new leather, but comfier to wear. It’ll keep you protected from any spills and splashes, and just needs to be wiped clean to keep it looking smart. And because no new leather has gone into making it, it’s virtually maintenance free as you won’t need to apply any leather treatment to it.

Look and feel like a pro

In striking black, with bold neck and waist straps, you’ll cut a formidable figure in the kitchen or at the barbecue (if that’s your cooking style) and gives you freedom to move as you keep your busy kitchen shipshape. "Bring on the barbecues"

We got this apron in time for the marmalade-making season. It is an impressive item, particularly when dealing with hot ingredients. The elasticated straps are a good idea and keep the apron close fitting without feeling tight or restrictive. The only (minor) issue is that there were no cleaning instructions supplied with it. Looking forwards to the barbecues when the weather improves!

The apron is very comfortable and easy to use. May benefit from pockets at the front. I have gifted it to a local charity who have community BBQs and a pizza oven, as I thought they would benefit from the hard wearing durability needed with the hot temperatures.

"Uncomfortable, fiddly "

This apron was fiddly to put on and really uncomfortable to wear. The fabric was heavy but the main issue was the material that went over your head, it was very wide and uncomfortable. The whole family tried it and we were all in agreement that no one would wear it so it went to the charity shop. Although a recycled apron is a good idea we wouldn't recommend.

Our buying team have stated: The apron is put on by feeding the leather side tab throw the metal D ring, you then need to press the leather tab over the metal pin, the length of the waist band can be adjusted with the metal adjuster. To secure the metal neck strap simply press the leather end over the metal pin, there are three different pin holes on each side so you can adjust the length. Both the neck and waist straps are wide for a comfort so they do not dig in and are elasticated so they move with you. The very nature of leather aprons is they are slightly heavier but the apron itself is extremely soft and easy to wear and move in.
