Lakeland Mini Digital Ice Cream Maker 0.5L – Homemade Ice Cream In 25 Minutes Plus Sorbet & Yoghurt

I struggle to remove the lid once the ice cream is ready. I have quite small hands and they don't span quite far enough to get a good grip of the top of the machine. By the time I've spent a few minutes fighting with it, the ice cream has started to harden against the inside wall and I end up with a much smaller portion than expected. This is a real shame, because the ice cream is delicious, there's just not enough of it. I'm hoping that with practice I'll figure out a technique that works.

Purchased on 22 Oct 2023. Cheapest ice cream maker we could find. Smallest ice cream maker we could find. Perfect size for two servings. Sorbet consistency on 25 minutes. Made mostly of plastic. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Works brilliantly for the price. Works great with yogurts, custards, fruits and milk We wait until sorbet consistency and then freeze for at least 40 more minutes in a separate container. Works with slimming world recipes. Great value for money and thinking about purchasing a second maker.

While it is a nice design and fun to use, it just doesn't work. When you pour in the ingredients, and mix it for at least half an hour, it just stays around the same consistency as sloppy cake mixture. Overall, I think this was a waste of money and disappointed.

I both love and hate this machine in equal measure. It is incredibly easy to use and the ice cream is delicious but . . . . . It just doesn't make enough.

Easy to use, the freezer bowl doesn't take to much room in the freezer, the recipes in the instructions are all tasty and easy to make, it is well made and makes enough ice cream for one or two people at a push, overall i have no hesitation in recommending this ice cream maker.
