"Strong design and quality" star star star star star_border These are a classic design and are a thick strong material. Some black tea towels I have had in the past have needed washing numerous times to remove black fibre bits that come off onto the pots. These have been great from first use. support_agent A note from the team This review has been written by a My Lakeland Club member who received a free product sample from us, along with a request for their honest opinion, good or bad, because our customers’ feedback is invaluable to us in building our range.
"Carry On Butchery!" star star star star_border star_border This review is for an older version of this product Nice to see a design theme running through Lakeland's Kitchen Linens in the black butcher's stripe. Smart and tasteful. An optimal sized product made from 100% cotton. Absorbency qualities not as good as had been hoped, though. The loop in the corner of one end is useful for hanging on a handle or hook.
"Not the best" star star star_border star_border star_border The tea towels when new look stunning , but definitely need washing 1st as not absorbent, After washing absorbancy is great and a good size , but the fabric is thin and gets wet through easily. Also after washing they definitely look like they need an iron .... but I have more to do in life than iron tea towels! They also don't tumbledry, unlike some other lakeland tea towels. support_agent A note from the team This review has been written by a myLakeland club member who received a free product sample from us, along with a request for their honest opinion, good or bad, because our customers' feedback is invaluable to us in building our range.
"Butchers tea towels" star star star_border star_border star_border They certainly don’t tumble dry they would require ironing Also they don’t dry. Dry the dishes etc. support_agent A note from the team This review has been written by a My Lakeland Club member who received a free product sample from us, along with a request for their honest opinion, good or bad, because our customers’ feedback is invaluable to us in building our range. We'd advise washing before first use which will increase the absorbency.
"Awful" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I’m sorry to say they are the worst tea towels I’ve ever bought, not very absorbent and they look as if they’ve been hand made from a roll of not very good fabric. Not the usual Lakeland standard I’ve come to know and love. support_agent A note from the team We're sorry you didn't like these.
