The trouble with some standard cake tins is that they’re just too deep for storing things like quiche or fruit flans. To keep them fresh, you want as little air in there as possible, which is where Tatay’s Quiche Container steps in to save the day (and your bakes).

In Tatay’s home country of Spain, things like fruit flans, frittatas with lovely layers of potato and onion, and Spanish almond cake (yum!) are often on the menu, and they’re all shallower than a traditional British bake like a Victoria sponge. So it makes sense that Tatay would come up with a handy container that’s the answer to our quiche-and-cake-storage conundrum. Hurrah!

Made from BPA-free polypropylene, both the body and clip-on lid are good and sturdy to keep bakes protected, and if you can buy more than one, they be stacked in your cupboard, too. It’s just as happy in the freezer, and can be popped in the microwave if you need to defrost your quiche or warm it through for your tea.
