Which is pretty much exactly what it is, with a blade that's been specially designed to execute a clean, consistent slice right through the middle of your bagels while keeping your hands safely out of harm's way. The blade is V-shaped rather than flat, so it penetrates the bagel in the middle at the top before cutting all the way through it, so you'll never have to worry about it getting crumpled up and squashed at the bottom of the base.
