Made from natural cane, not only does it provide the ideal conditions when proving your dough, its round shape helps your loaf keep its shape as it rises, and its woven design leaves a circular pattern that gives your bread a suitably rustic appearance when baked. It's also great for serving up home-made bread rolls at the table.

Easy to use

Just place one of the reusable wooden inserts (the set comprises sun, honeycomb and heart designs) pattern-side up into your proving basket, flour well to prevent sticking, then put your dough on top to prove. When you turn out your dough, remove the insert and you’'l see the pattern has been imprinted on the top of your loaf, ready for baking in.
