"So flimsy they’re single use" star star_border star_border star_border star_border After a single use, the basins and lids warp so that the lids don’t fit. I can’t understand how Lakeland can consciously be selling such an inferior, unsustainable product. support_agent A note from the team We’re very sorry to hear they are faulty if you bought it from one of our stores, then you can simply return it and they will be happy to help you. Please don’t forget to take your proof of purchase.
"Pudding basins" star star star star star_border I’ve used these pudding basins to cook my Christmas puddings for many years and have found them really excellent in fact i’m Just about to purchase another set.
"3 Plastic Lidded Pudding Basins 1.3L Not Good" star star_border star_border star_border star_border Basins looked ok until using them, lids do not fit well and then I put one in the dishwasher as they say dishwasher safe and the basin was not round when it came out and was oval so lid will not fit and not useable. I have used Lakeland for years but your products are going downhill. Very sad support_agent A note from the team We're sorry you found this and we've passed your feedback on our supplier.
"Good but not great" star star star_border star_border star_border Good for steaming and it looks like they will release well. But the lids are next to useless. They are not a tight fit and open given the slightest flex of the basin. The way the lid is designed also makes it create a pool of water in the middle. I bought these as I thought they would be easier than a traditional basin but it looks like I’ll be creating a foil and paper lid just that to store them properly. If the lids were a tight fit I’d buy again but as it is I’ll keep using my enamel basins in future. if commercial pudding manufacturers can get a plastic basin right why can’t Lakeland. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review.
