I agree with other reviewers that the recipe booklet does not help but I use my usual recipe and once kneaded, shape half the dough into four mini baguettes and put into the mould to rise. Once risen I put the mould onto a tray and into the oven without knocking back. This seems to work well. I am now just about to purchase another mould for the other half of my dough!

The moulds are very flexible so you do need to put them on a baking sheet. They do however work well, they cook evenly and release easily. I tried the recipe in the book but found it far too dry, on the second attempt I added some extra water and some oil which was much better but more like a sub roll than a baguette. On the third attempt I used my usual recipe for baguettes with a great result. My advice would be "don't bother with the recipe in the book " but the moulds do produce a nicely shaped product with an even bake.

Intriguing silicone mould to bake home made mini baguettes. I followed the recipe in the accompanying booklet and made baguettes from scratch but they didn't turn out very well. It could be the cook or the recipe! Would like to try it again with my own recipe to compare. The mould itself is very flexible and they advise taking the whole oven rack out of the oven when removing cooked baguettes, which I wasn't keen on. The concept is good and I think it may work well with a different recipe.

The product is fine but the recipe for the 4 mini-baguettes was never written for a UK buyer. It uses cups, spoons and ml measurements, no F temperatures, I doubt my flour was the right type - I fed my first and only attempt to follow the recipe in the booklet to the birds and I have been making dough in my lovely Panasonic for over 20 years.
