6 Lékué Silicone Bagel Moulds

Used these for the first time today. Following the recipe was slightly tricky as in cup measurements rather than grams. However after googling measurement conversions they turned out really well. I particularly like the simplicity of plunging them in to boiling water when they are are the mould, they are then simply popped in the oven for 15-20 minutes. You don’t need to be a keen baker to whip up fresh bagels easily, and as they are made from silicone also really easy to wash. Very pleased and highly recommend.

I made bagels many years ago and found scooping them out from the water caused them to be misshapen and not very nice. I bought these moulds yesterday and tried them out today. I must say they are wonderful. My bagels, I didn't use the enclosed recipe, actually looked and tasted like bagels. They were fluffy and not heavy like the pack of 5 you buy in the supermarket. I'm converted. The moulds are easy to clean and stack which is a good thing as my kitchen hasn't got much space left with all the other Lakeland products I have.

I enjoy making bagels, but have always struggled to get the shape quite right. These moulds make such a difference, giving a much better shape and finish. They also make the boiling part of the process much easier. Would definitely recommend.

Not having made bagels before I was keen to try these out. I followed the recipe in the booklet but found the mix to be far too dry, also the amount seemed too little for six reasonable sized bagels. On the next attempt I added some oil to the mix and made four, the result was really good. They are easy to use, especially when putting into boiling water and after 15 - 20 mins in the oven you have great bagels. Nice and chewy on the outside but soft inside. Would recommend these for ease of use but you may want to adjust the recipe.
