Cling film is so useful around the kitchen, especially for covering dishes of leftovers or wrapping awkwardly shaped food items – but it can be difficult to recycle, and that’s where our Compostable Cling Film comes into play.
Specially designed from materials that are suitable for home composting, once added to your compost heap it’ll disappear within 12 months, without leaving any harmful material behind – so you can wrap your lunchtime sandwiches knowing you’re doing your bit for the environment.

Very easily sticks to its self so take time removing from packaging. Great that it breaks down in waste. Good grip round bowls and dishes. Expensive compared to others but then it does composte.
The best thing about this product is that it’s environmentally friendly and this has to be positive yes it doesn’t tear well and sticks to its self-most cling film products do anyway but it does the job its made for. Only time will tell how well they compost but it has to be a step in the right direction to increase our use of bio-gradeable items

I found this clingfilm did a perfectly good job. Admittedly it was difficult to tear on the perforations but I have never found any cling film that excels at that. The fact that it is compostable makes it a winner

I think this cling film is great, it is environmentally friendly and really good quality. It is quite thick/strong and i personally think it does tear well. It also sticks really well. Being compostable is also a winner. Really happy with this product and would definitely get again.

Bought this to reduce plastic waste. We use it with the wrap master cling film dispenser that we had previously bought from Lakeland so we don’t have the issues some of the other users have with cutting the cling film. It is more expensive than normal cling film, but we’re happy to pay a bit more to buy something compostable. It’s not a perfect replacement for cling film, but it does a good enough job.
