Katy Sue Designs’ Honeycomb & Bees Silicone Mould is ideal, giving fondant icing a lovely honeycomb pattern, and helping you turn out three different little black and yellow striped buzzy bees too.
Easy to use
Designed for use with firm fondant, modelling paste and marzipan, this silicone mould is a super-simple way to create fantastic cake decorations with very little effort and no specialist or artistic skills. And although the results might be impressively intricate, they’re really easy to achieve. Just dust the mould lightly with cornflour before you begin, then push your icing into place, being careful not to overfill the mould. Because it’s made from heat-resistant silicone, this icing mould can also be used with melted chocolate, toffee or sugar – just wait for them to set hard before turning them out.
