Lakeland Oblong Tiered Cake Caddy and Cupcake Carrier

This storage box is brilliant and fits the cupcakes perfectly would highly recommend. I have got 2 of these and use these all the time.

My husband brought this caddy for my birthday. I use it a lot. The only disappointment with it is that you can't use it as two individual ones. So when I make cupcakes for both of my sons one can have them in the caddy carrier and the other can't. It's a shame you can't buy the lids separately.

I was so excited about this product and unwrapped it eagerly, and made a batch of muffins only to discover they don't fit. The picture appears to show wrapped muffins, but the bases of muffins made in standard Lakeland muffin trays do not fit, it is only suitable for small cupcakes, which I don't bake. I flipped the internal tray used for tray-bakes (great Lakeland design idea), but the muffins slide and I bought this so they wouldn't. The box feels sturdy but the catches slightly flimsier than previous products - time will tell. If I hadn't destroyed box I would have sent it back. Gutted!

The catalogue states that 'each tray seals individually for separate storage'. This is not correct. I bought this box hoping to store and freeze half my cup cakes and store the other half in a sealed container to eat fresh. But you can't seal them both separately. I like the box otherwise but can't use it how I had intended.

I too purchased this cup cake carrier under the naive view that it was two secure carriers that clipped together - sadly this is not the case. It's a great carrier and does the job except I don't like the idea of covering one of them with either cling wrap or silver foil if I'm using them for separt reasons. I feel sure I'm not the only customer who thinks this? Please Lakeland - re-think the design. Disappointed Customer from Chichester
