I bought these for the first time having previously used a variety of Lakeland cake cases. I made some cakes using a basic mix and added some leftover homemade mincemeat. All the cakes came out cleanly so I am very pleased. The colours are lovely too.
I discovered these foil lined cake cases quite recently. For years I have been trying to find cases that don't come away from the cake when they cool. I have now made several hundred using these and only one came away. I think they are amazing and in lovely pretty colours too. They are also very easy to separate, unlike some other makes, when you can spend as much time getting the cases ready as preparing the sponge mixture. I will never buy unlined cake cases again.
I have always bought the same paper rainbow cupcakes cases for years which turn out perfect everytime. This time those have disappeared so I thought I'd try these. They are awful. They may not show the grease but they don't stay stuck to the cakes so they just look a mess and if I wanted to flood the top with icing I've got no chance. If I lived near a store I'd be returning them.
