Silicone Pigs in Blankets Savoury Canapé Mould

Product number: 32495

Christmas and pigs in blankets go hand-in-hand, and that oh-so-delicious festive favourite gave us an idea for this tongue-in-cheek mould… and what a talking point it will be at Christmas buffets! Made from silicone, it turns out a dozen piglets just perfect for party platters. Just fill the mould about two thirds with scotch pancake batter then push a cocktail sausage into each hole and bake.

Oven safe to 260°C, it's also fridge and freezer-safe, so it's brilliant for making sweets and ice cubes, too. Just don’t serve them with your turkey.

"Little piggies"

star star star star_border star_border

I’ve followed your recipe and instructions and made this. The tops are brown but when I turn them out the bottoms are still batter colour. So second attempt I put them on a preheated tray in the oven but same result ☹️ I will reheat for dinner later and now the bottom is the top so hopefully it will colour up. They are fun but look a little like they ve been in an accident

Thank you for placing your review. It may take a little practice to get them perfected - if using a fan oven, try it at 180º for 15-20mins.

"Bit of fun"

Bought these to cheer us up & they definitely made me and hubby laugh. The mould is great, brush/spray with oil, fill with batter, add a mini hot dog sausage, bake for 2 minutes and out pop fat little piggies. If you want some fun (I'm sure children will love them) get a mould and have a go.... I'm planning on making some jelly ones and also sponge cake ones for Christmas... being stuck in tier 3 now and possibly for longer me and hubby need a laugh and they certainly had us both chuckling... I think they look like hippo's but they are still tasty
