Easy-squeezy does it! Create a colourful plateful of ring-shaped cookies or meringues with a single squeeze of an icing bag – and the help of these 2 Ring-Shaped Biscuit Nozzles.

How to make a biscuit with a hole

Place either of the nozzles into a piping bag with the end snipped off, then spoon in your soft biscuit dough or meringue. Hold the bag perfectly upright, with the end of the nozzle just above the surface of a sheet of baking parchment or a baking tray. Squeeze the bag to pipe a perfectly round ring of dough with a ribbed top and a hole in the middle, then lift it away.

And once you’ve got the knack of creating a basic ring biscuit (and we think it’s worth practising a lot, because in our experience even less-than-perfectly-shaped biccies never go to waste), you can experiment by adding food colourings to create lovely swirly-whirly patterns, perfect for everything from delicate afternoon tea treats to rainbow-bright party nibbles.
