24 Speckled Craft Paper Greaseproof Tulip Shaped Muffin Cases

This type of muffin case is often difficult to remove and these seem to be made from paper rather than the usual greaseproof paper, but no issues removing - just pull 2 opposite tucked round flaps away from the cake, then the other 2 and the whole thing folds down (I'm a master of getting any cake out of these types of cases without losing cake!) Base is a little smaller than my muffin tin, but they are deep so great for muffin mixes that rise a lot in the oven. Wish there were more designs, seems to be these or plain white standard cases and all the rest are for cupcakes.

I was really disappointed with these. They're actually slightly smaller in diameter than a standard muffin tin, but the real flaw is that they disintegrate when in contact with a cooking cake mix. Rather than neatly peeling away from the cooked and cooled muffin, they stick to the muffin and fall apart leaving lots of small bits of paper stuck to the muffin. I won't be buying them again (or using the remaining ones in the packet!)
