Bring the sweet taste of Sicily to your kitchen by making your own cannoli. It couldn’t be easier – all you need to do is make a batch of pastry, wrap rolled-out ovals of dough around the stainless steel cannoli tubes, bake them in the oven until crisp (although they can be deep-fried if you’re feeling naughty), let them cool, and then fill with whatever takes your fancy.
This classic Italian pastry traditionally has a creamy, sweet ricotta filling with candied peel and chocolate chips, but you can fill yours with any of your favourite sweet or savoury ingredients. We like ice cream, fruit, chocolate spread, jam and cream... anyone hungry yet?
Pack of 12 tubes with slanted ends – this stops them rolling, making them much easier to use.
