Just what you need when you’ve got a spring or Easter-themed cake to decorate, Katy Sue Designs’ Daffodil Silicone Mould creates two different sizes of sugarpaste daffodil flowers, complete with central ‘trumpet’ and outer petals – just press in your icing, flex to remove then roll to create a host of dancing daffodils.
Easy to use
Designed for use with firm fondant, modelling paste and marzipan, this silicone mould is an incredibly easy way to create fantastic cake decorations with very little effort and no specialist skills. And although the results might be impressively intricate, they’re really easy to achieve. Just dust the mould lightly with cornflour before you begin, then push your paste into place, being careful not to overfill the mould. Once you’ve scraped away any excess, press on the back of the mould and flex to release perfectly shaped flowers with incredibly defined detail.
Ideal for modelling paste, chocolate and more
Because it’s made from heat-resistant silicone, this mould can also be used with melted chocolate, Candy Buttons, toffee or sugar – just wait for them to set hard before turning them out.
Releases easily for perfectly preserved detail
Super-flexible and non-stick, the mould will release your decorations easily once they’ve set, giving you wonderful definition with all the delicate detail intact.
