Simple to assemble with full instructions -It might look like it’s beyond your skill level, but the easy-to-assemble pieces and step-by-step instructions make it easy for even novice cake decorators to achieve amazing results.

Bake your sponges, cut them to size using the base as a template, stack them up, then put the base on top of the cake stack. Push the supports through the slots and down into the cake, then turn your cake over and slot the handle through the holes in the tops of the supports. Once you’re happy everything fits together, there are carving templates to help you cut your cake into a ‘handbag’ shape. … fill and decorate.

Unstack your cake to add any filling, layer by layer, reassemble, then add a crumb coating of frosting. Chill, smooth over, then cover your creation in ready-to-roll fondant icing. Once your cake is covered, unleash your creativity by adding flaps, catches, buckles, straps, stitch detailing – anything you want to finish off your fabulous bag. The handle supplied is silver plastic, but if your design requires something different you can make your own handle from beaded wire, leather, ribbon or chain – you’ll just have to make sure that your replacement handle is strong enough to take the weight of your cake.

The platform, supports and handle are all made from food-safe, dishwasher-safe, BPA-free plastic.

Turning out icing decorations with realistic shape, size and detail, this cake-decorating mould forms a wonderfully intricate, partially open 15cm zip, along with a choice of two ways to finish it off – a simple zip pull tab and a ring pull tab – which makes the perfect partner to our Handbag Cake Kit.

Easy to use

Designed for use with firm fondant, modelling paste and marzipan, this silicone mould is a super-simple way to create fantastic cake decorations with very little effort and no specialist or artistic skills. And although the results might be impressively intricate, they’re really easy to achieve. Just dust the mould lightly with cornflour before you begin, then push your paste into place, being careful not to overfill the mould. Once you’ve scraped away any excess, press on the back of the mould and flex to release your perfectly shaped zip with incredibly defined detail.

Ideal for modelling paste, chocolate and more

Because it’s made from heat-resistant silicone, this icing mould can also be used with melted chocolate, toffee or sugar – just wait for them to set hard before turning them out. You can even use it with pastry to make a distinctly different topping for pies.
