Katy Sue Designs Santa Belt Flexible Silicone Mould

Product number: 32333

Ho ho ho and a bellyful of Christmassy food! Santa needs a strong leather belt with a shiny brass buckle to stretch round his tum, and Katy Sue Designs’ Santa Belt Flexible Silicone Mould turns out a wonderfully realistic one, complete with stitched detailing, punched holes and decorative buckle, perfect for stretching round a belly-shaped bake.

Buckle up!

There’s always a place for traditional Christmas cake and Christmas pud, but there’s always room for a fun festive bake or two on your table too! Making it easy to turn a simple hemisphere or globe cake into a crowd-pleasing Santa-themed bake, just cover your cake with red icing and then wrap this belt around its middle.

Ideal for modelling paste, chocolate and more

Designed for use with firm fondant, modelling paste and marzipan, this silicone mould is an incredibly easy way to create fantastic cake decorations with very little effort and no specialist skills. Just dust the mould lightly with cornflour before you begin, then push your paste into place, being careful not to overfill the mould. Once you’ve scraped away any excess, press on the back of the mould and flex to gently release your cake-topping creation, then dust the buckle with a little gold lustre for a shiny brass finish.

Releases easily for perfectly preserved detail

Super-flexible and non-stick, it will release your buckled belt easily once it’s set, giving you wonderful definition with all the features intact from edge stitching to decorative buckle detail.

Heat it up…

Because it’s made from heat-resistant silicone, this mould can also be used with melted chocolate, Candy Buttons, toffee or sugar – just wait for them to set hard before turning them out.

Other features

  • Heat-resistant to 200°C
  • BPA-free

Tried with fondant first putting filled mould in fridge for 5mins, wouldnt release.worked with flower paste.

support_agent A note from the team

We'd recommend brushing the mould very liberally with icing sugar, lustre dust or cornstarch. This stops the fondant from sticking to the mould when it's time to remove your design.
