Sugar Mice Silicone Mould 5 "Mouse mould" Mrs Fitz-Gibbons 06 January 2020 I purchased this mould a couple of years ago but use it to make chocolate mice instead of sugar ones. Grandchildren love them.
Sugar Mice Silicone Mould 4 "Does a job!" Dr Bates 07 January 2020 I used these to make set custard mice. They worked a lot better when I froze them after baking. I think they'd work well for chocolate mice.
Sugar Mice Silicone Mould 1 "Disappointed" Mrs Street 16 December 2019 This review is for an older version of this product Made the fondant as per the instructions, also dusted the mould with icing sugar to help with removal. The instructions don't give an estimated time to leave the mice in the fridge, I left mine a day but they wouldn't come out of the mould. Should I not have dusted it with the icing sugar? I left the fondant white to avoid "watering" it down with colour. Also, it doesn't seem to be possible to buy more tails..... The one star reflects my experience with fondant - I might try chocolate! A note from the team Thanks for your review. For using with fondant you could try dusting the mould with cornstarch and freezing the mould for about 15 minutes until the fondant is frozen solid. For the tails you could try 'liquorice bootlaces' or bakers twine which is food safe.
