The oval shape of this cake tin lends itself well to all kinds of bakes, whether you use one tin to turn out a party slab, tray bake or brownies; double up to make a sandwich cake; or use it with the two larger sizes to create a 3-tier celebration or wedding cake.

Aluminium is noted for its quick and even heat distribution, resulting in cakes with a consistent texture with no overdone scorched or undercooked doughy bits. The anodised finish gives fantastic food release for easy clean-up, and also ensures this tin won’t corrode, blister or peel. There’s no coating inside to damage or scratch, and over time it will build up a patina that enhances its natural non-stick properties. And when it comes to the end of its long life, it’s fully recyclable too.

I bought the small and medium size of these oval tins on a recent visit to the Windermere store. I make quite a lot of cakes and it’s always easier to start off with the shape you need rather than trying to create the shape from a round or square cake. I used them recently to make a T-Rex cake and the small oval tin was perfect for its head. I wish I could upload a photo to show you. Good quality tins.
I ordered the small, medium and large. The large was much larger than I expected. I used small and medium and loved them so I have ordered more. Great price, great product
